How tags work

An NFC tag is a small sticker you put on something around your home, such as a cabinet or a storage container. Tap your phone on the tag and Tapwick adds the item to your shopping list, or marks the chore done.

To set one up, open Scan in the app, tap Scan NFC Tag and hold your phone near the new tag. On the Link this tag screen, choose the item or chore it stands for. You can re-use or re-assign a tag later.

Not tested: metal surfaces. Standard NFC stickers usually fail on bare metal.
